Baruch ha ba ha Schem Adonai

Baruch ha ba ha Schem Adonai

Blessed be He who cometh in the Name of the Lord. The original says Blessed be He who cometh in the name of Yahveh

Who is He?

Yah'shua! He is Yahveh (YHVH)!

Let's look at Psalm 118.

Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

Question time

Before we hurriedly make this Psalm applicable on ourselves, we need to ask ourselves a few questions.

Who is this Psalm really about?
Who is calling out in distress in the first couple of verses?
Who is surrounded by nations?
Who are the nations and why are they destroyed in the previous verses?
Who is the Right Hand of the Lord?
Who is declaring the works of the Lord?
Who is the Voice of rejoicing and Salvation in the tabernacle?
Who is the tabernacle?
For whom are the gates of righteousness opened?
Who has become the Corner Stone that the builders rejected?
Whose prayer was heard by the Lord?
Who is good and only good?

So, let us rightly divide the Word

I submit to you that this Psalm is all about Jesus!

It is all about Yah, יה

In Hebrew we read from right to left. Yah or יה is the shortened version of the name of God, Yahveh יהוה (pictograph: the hand by grace nailed by grace). Yah, יה is the part of God's name that you will find in many places of the Bible such as the Psalms, Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc. It is also the part of God's name that occur in many of the names op people in the Bible, such as the prophets, Isaiah or IsaYAH (Yah has saved), Jermemiah or JeremiYAH (Yah has appointed), Zephaniah or ZephaniYAH (Yah has treasured), etc.

יה is the shortened version of יהוה and all these prophets of old came in the name of Yahveh.

Even when you say HalleluYAH, you are praising יה!

But there is only One Who came manifested as Yahveh and therefore He came truely in His Name. That Person is Jesus, Yah'shua (יהושע). Yah'shua is YAH Who Saves, Yah is Salvation!

Yah'shua (יהושע) is Yahveh (יהוה)!

Let us now answer our questions

The Psalm is all about Jesus. Note the words that are used are words that Jesus Himself uttered during His fleshly tenure here on earth. He is God's mercy. He is the one on whose side God is (He is God).

Jesus is the One calling out in distress on the cross as He is the full atonement for all sins and sicknesses and curses and adversity in any form.

Jesus is the One surrounded by nations, even on the cross. Therefore the Psalm mentions that He was chastened and given over to death. All nations are represented in Him and set free by Him. They even surrounded Him in the name of the Lord.

The nations referred to in this setting is evil itself and the spirits of evil. They are destroyed because they keep God's elect in captivity. The Psalm describes Jesus as the victorious and the exalted Right Hand of the Lord. HalleluYAH!

Jesus, Yah'shua the One Who truely comes in the name of Yahveh declares the works of the Lord. Why? He is the only One who can. He was able to fulfill completely the law and the prophets, the history and feasts, went to the cross, defeated death and sin and destruction, was raised victoriously and lives inside of us right now!

So, Jesus is the Voice of Rejoicing and Salvation in the tabernacle. Who is the tabernacle? Us! We are the tabernacles not touched (built) by human hands. And He, being holy, can only live in a holy place made righteous in all respects by His own blood!

Jesus is the Corner Stone that the builders rejected and now He is the Corner Stone of each and every temple built by God - You.

Whose prayer was heard by the Lord? You know the answer to this question ...

Who is good and only good? ... and this one ...

And now?

Prophesy fulfilled!

Yet, in Hebrew the word prophecy has a much wider meaning. It has a re-occurring meaning hereby blessing us with the second coming of Yah'shua also.

Until then who comes in the Name of Yahveh?

We do! We are anointed with His abiding Spirit of truth and power.

O give thanks unto the Yahveh; for he is good: for His mercy endureth for ever!

HalleluYAH!
